The flat has 2 bedrooms available for guests one of which is en-suite. We are a small family of Mum and 2 school age children. We are very relaxed and will do our very best to help you enjoy your stay in Edinburgh. Having an immersion stay with us will definitely help improve your English! We live right next to a fantastic public park which has basketball, tennis and a football pitch all free, the park is also linked to the Edinburgh walkway system so you can keep fit in-between sight seeing and practising your English. I am happy to provide an evening meal and laundry service at a small extra charge.

Our home is situated in the north of the city, 5 minutes walk to an old fishing village Newhaven yet a short 20 minute bus ride into the city centre. We have a 24 supermarket 10 minutes walk away and also a lovely park across the road which is directly on the walkways which allow easy walking/cycling access around the city.

I really had a wonderful time, Margaret and her beautiful family have been most welcoming and truly made me feel at home. The house is lovely and in a very quiet neighborhood, and if you don’t mind walking there’s an Asda superstore just a couple of bus stops away. The room was warm, very clean and the wifi worked pretty well. Overall an unforgettable first look at the Scottish hospitality!
