Blockhouse Bay is about 45/50 minutes from the city centre by bus. It is a friendly and small suburb, close to the beach for summer swims and winter walks.
It has great facilities with banks, cafes, post office, library, gym and supermarket. There are frequent buses to the city and our home is a 1 minute walk from the bus stop and shops.
There are lots of local parks.
